Ceramic Tile Paint Application Directions

IF YOU OR ANYONE IN YOUR HOME HAS RESPIRATORY HEALTH PROBLEMS OR ASTHMA, DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT. EXTINGUISH ALL IGNITION SOURCES. DO NOT SMOKE WHILE USING. FLAMMABLE.

COLOR MATCHES OF YOUR EXISTING CERAMIC TILES MAY NOT BE POSSIBLE. IN THIS CASE, REFINISH THE ENTIRE TILED SURFACE.

REPAIRS Must be completed prior to using this product. Chipped or cracked tiles, missing grout, holes or other damage can be repaired by using one of our repair kits.

TOOLS NEEDED 2 Premium Natural Bristle Brushes Or For A Better Finish Use Foam Type Rollers And Brushes, Paint Tray, 1 Sheet of 100 Grit Sand Paper, Pair of Disposable Gloves, Masking Paper, 1 Inch Roll Of Tape, And Acetone.

DIRECTIONS

STEP 1 – PREPARING THE CERAMIC TILES
A. Use products at room temperatures above 60 degrees only. The preparation of the fixture is the most important step in the refinishing process. Follow directions completely.
B. Surface must be clean, dry and free from grease or wax. Clean with an over the counter floor or tile cleaner. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry completely. Any paint droppings or other foreign materials can be sanded off using 100 grit sand paper. Grease and other oil based matter can be removed with Acetone.

Any caulking or silicone that may be on tiles will need to be removed completely. The film left behind from these materials must be completely removed by sanding with 100 grit sandpaper.

STEP 2 – Applying Primer Bonding Agent

Primer – Apply the wipe-on primer using a papertowel. One light coat is all that is needed. Allow primer to dry for 20 minutes depending on temperature and humidity.

STEP 3 – Applying The Brush-On Color Coating

A. Mix paint thoroughly. Apply in light and even coats, typically one coat is all that is needed. If additional coats are needed, allow to dry completely before applying another coat.

B. When finished be careful not to get debris on wet coating or coating to get wet with water until dry. Allow to Dry 24-48 hours depending on temperature and humidity.

Clean Up with paint thinner or dispose of brushes, rollers and other materials properly. Do not allow children in the work area.

CARE AND CLEANING

Never clean fixtures with abrasive cleanser, or scrub pads. Do not use products containing bleach or allow drain cleaners to come into contact with the finish. Shelf life of product is 1 year. Keep out of reach of children.

Tag is only available by emailing the Bathtub Refinishing Referral Network at the above email address. We must be contacted within 24 hours of receiving a damaged or defective item. No item will be accepted without an ID tag. Refunds will include replacement of the damaged or defective product only and are provided from the manufacturer.
